Q. What is PerfInsight used for?

The typical usage of PerfInsight™ is illustrated in the following chart. PerfInsight™ is a web site to connect Microsoft Visual Studio load test data and to present the test results through HTTP delivery from anywhere.

By default, after load test runs, Visual Studio Load Test Controller stores on local machine's SQL Express database which has limitation on how much data you can store. It can be changed to store load test data on any other’s server’s database

PerfInsight™ is designed to deliver test reports on load test results collected by Microsoft Visual Studio load test clients. The tool is installed on an IIS server which could be the same or a different server where test repository database resides (LoadTest db).
